7000F, also known as SABIC-F00950 or F00952, is a high-density bimodal polyethylene copolymer with butene-1 as a comonomer. It features high molecular weight and acceptable film strength for the production of very thin films. It is processed through the method of film blowing and has a density of 0.952 g/cm³ and an MFI of 0.04 (190 °C/2.16 Kg). This grade is supplied in granular (pellet) form and contains antioxidants and acid scavengers as additives.
Excellent mechanical strength
It enhances the material’s strength, durability, and resistance to various physical forces. It leads to the production of more versatile, cost-effective, and lighter creations that are strong at the same time.
Good stiffness
It refers to the SABIC-F00952’s rigidity and high molecular weight. Polyethylene with high stiffness can bear its shape under loads and is less prone to warping or deformation under stress or temperature changes.
Good processability
This feature is crucial for polyethylene because it is one of the most widely needed properties. Good processability for polyethylene refers to its ability to be easily and efficiently shaped, molded, or formed into various products during manufacturing processes. This property allows manufacturers to produce a vast array of products efficiently and economically.
F00950‘s excellent mechanical strength, high stiffness, and good processability make it versatile and suitable for different applications. It is recommended for disposal waste bags, grocery bags, and garments. HD 7000F is also used in the production of advanced ultra-thin films, disposable gloves, freezer bags, food and fruit bags, trash bags, and medical gowns.
